**** Il team Kojima Production ha comunicato che verranno rilasciate sia su Ps3 che su Xbox360 due collezioni interamente rimasterizzate in HD da non perdere. La prima è la Metal Gear Solid Collection , che non solo vanterà MGS2 e MGS: Snake Eater ma anche MGS: Peace Walker per Psp. La seconda è la Zone of the Enders Collection : niente terzo capitolo che tutti si aspettavano dunque, ma solo i porting dei primi due capitoli ( Zone of the Enders e Zone of the Enders 2). La prima è prevista per Novembre 2011, la seconda entro il 2012.
